Seminyak is an extension of Kuta and Legian, yet it projects a much more up-market image due to the class of luxury hotels and private villas in the area. Dining and evenings out in Semiyak have become a cosmopolitan experience with a plethora of stylish bars, casual eateries and chic restaurants serving world cuisine. Like North Legian, Seminyak attracts a cosmopolitan mix and is home to hundreds of expats involved in commerce of one sort or another. Seminyak runs from the daytime trendy Blue Ocean Boulevard across Double Six Road to the restaurants and bars of Dhyana Pura Street. Tourist accommodation is scarcer than in the previous areas but you'll find good standard hotels, interesting food and sophisticated nightlife.
